Allah (God) the one and only Allah in Islam.
Etymologically, the name Allah might be a contraction of the Arabic al-Ilāh, “the God.” The name’s origin can be traced to the earliest Semitic writings in which the phrase for god become il, el, or eloah, the latter used inside the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Allah is the standard Arabic word for God and is used by Arabic-speakme Christians and Jews as well as by way of Muslims. The affiliation of the word in particular with Islam comes from the unique popularity of Arabic because the language of Islam’s holy scripture, the Qurʾān: since the Qurʾān in its unique language is taken into consideration to be the literal word of God, it's far believed that God described himself within the Arabic language as Allāh. The Arabic phrase for this reason holds unique significance for Muslims, irrespective of their local tongue, due to the fact the Arabic word was spoken by way of God himself.
